Tried just now, no issues at all.
Hmmm. Thanks for checking. Indicates it's my end.
Very odd I can't even see the hompage, nor any sub pages (/qantas, /search, /login)
Edit: Can access via Safari on iOS, but would much prefer a desktop option.

Has anyone tried to access seats.aero today?
I've tried a few times with different browser and both regular and incognito and all I get is a blank screen.
@SeatsIan
We have had a few reports from people using VPN products like NordVPN that they get a blank screen lately. Not sure why they decided to ban us as we have not been able to get in touch with them. Do you use a VPN?

I do.
But have disconnected and still have a blank screen.

Yeah, NordVPN is the cause. Unfortunately, their "threat protection" continues to block Seats.aero even when the VPN feature is disabled. You have to fully turn it off to get rid of their blocks.
Very frustrating for us as there is no way to report a false positive on NordVPN's end!

Thanks for the quick response. That's useful to know.
For anyone else in this situation, these steps seem to have resolved it for now:
1. Click on "Threat Protection Pro" (red square)
2. Turn off "advanced browsing protection" (red circle).
3. Turn off "Ad and tracker blocker" (yellow circle).

So I have just noticed that Seat.Aero can not find QFF seats that are released to higher status members.
I was just casually browsing MEL > HKG in late January 2026 and QF has wide available for 2J from both SYD and MEL. Seat aero shows almost nothing (definitely nothing for QF).

That's not unusual for any of these tools.
I suspect a status account regularly used for screen scraping would not exist very long.

Sounds like that accounts for my similar observations, i.e. QF shows seats that seats.aero doesn't. Probably a "safe" thing as showing too many seats on seats.aero that lots of people can't book might not be great.
Now that I've dropped to PS, I expect what seats.aero shows and what I see on QF will be much closer in sync (barring live vs cache results on the former).

So if it can’t find availability that requires status, does that mean that the tool is effectively useless for finding J/F return seats to LHR on QF?

The seats have to exist in the first place for them to be found. When was the last time QF released J/F seats at EOS (where status is required) on their flights to LHR? I believe it was 2019.

Indeed. I have noted that seats.aero is not infallible, but it will give you a good head start.
And if QF (and VA) don't release seats, it really won't help a great deal.

This is the key. seats.aero is accurate to double digits; in fact, more than 75% of the time, I would posit. But it is not perfect.
The newly added SQ capabilities also demonstrate times when seats.aero can be in a bit of a fog.

If you're a NordVPN user you can report it via their online chat. I did this yesterday with the clearly very threatening mynrma.com.au site. Whether this goes anywhere mind...

FYI, as a PRO member, there was a link on their homepage to claim a free t-shirt with their logo, if anyone is interested.

Suggestion: Matt’s article from a couple of months ago Airlines, Please Stop Selling Ridiculously Tight Connections has a screenshot at the end of EF’s Mimimum Connect Times, this could be handy in SE now that you’re replacing them for everything else
